Every ALEO original is designed in Sydney by our in-house team. We don't pull from factory catalogues, change the colour, and resell at a premium every piece is something we sketched, prototyped, rejected samples of, and refined over months.

Production happens with carefully chosen manufacturers we've vetted personally for quality and ethics. "Designed in Australia" means we control the design, materials, sample rounds, and final approval.

ALEO was founded in 2024 by Ella Linh Nguyen, an Australian-Vietnamese designer based in Sydney. We're independent, self-funded, and not owned by any parent group, which means we get to make every design call ourselves, no compromises.

Most "designer" homewares brands in Australia source from the same factory catalogues, change the colour or colour way slightly, and resell at premium prices. We design every piece from scratch; that's the whole reason ALEO exists.

If you see a Folia, Vesper, or anything in our store sold by another brand, it's a copy of ours.

We use real materials, not lookalikes. Ceramics are high-fire porcelain. Metallic finishes are actual chrome plating, not powder coat.

Lamps use quality LED with weighted bases, not plastic that fails in six months.

Specific materials are listed on every product page so you know exactly what you're paying for.

We don't pick from trend reports. We ask our audience what they'd actually want to live with, prototype the top responses, then test them in our own place before locking in.

Some pieces (like Folia) involve significant handwork in finishing – hand-polished chrome, hand-checked glazes.

Others (like Vesper) are precision-manufactured for consistency. We tell you exactly which is which on every product page.

Standard shipping across Australia is 3–7 business days and free on all orders. Express shipping (1–3 business days) is available at checkout. We dispatch within 24 hours of order Monday–Friday.

You'll receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order ships. You can also check status anytime by logging in to your account.

30-day returns on unused items in original packaging. Refund or exchange – your choice.

Sale items and gift cards are final sale. You cover return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or not as described.

If your order hasn't shipped yet (usually within 12 hours), email us and we'll do our best. Once shipped, you'll need to wait for delivery then return.

Email info@aleoshop.com.au within 48 hours of delivery with a photo. We'll replace or refund at no cost to you, including shipping. We won't make you jump through hoops.
